Doppelganger Experiment eBook Margaret Millmore
It's easy to feel for the protagonist, waking up from a coma and having lost the memory of the last three years. As Jane tries to dig for clues to her past she has to question just who can be trusted? The friendly orderly, Franklin who seems to care and yet seems to space out for a few seconds giving her warnings? Her own husband of whom she has no memories at all yet who has the same eyes as a former love? . Her best friends who are somehow "different" than she remembers them? A mysterious stranger in a trench coat who seems to have information about an experiment dating back to the 1960's? Searching for the truth she finds clues: well hidden clues that she left for herself but also clues in things that AREN'T there, but should be. Certain things in her life just don't seem "right". Jane has recurrent flashes of memory and dreams of a green building which appears ominous and dangerous. She can't help but search for the answers in looking to find her true self. Jane's search leads her into greater danger as she comes closer to the truth that many want to keep hidden.Product details

Doppelganger Experiment eBook Margaret Millmore Reviews
Edge of your seat writing! Made me want to rethink our governments policies and medicine. Get ready to be grabbed, have time to spend reading this story, because you are not going to stop reading until you finish!
I'm not a very critical person when it comes to books. I don't read a whole lot, a couple a year. I either enjoy them or not. This kept me interested to the point I couldn't put it down near the end. It's amystery thriller with some twists.
It had an interesting premise. Very scientific, but described in such a way that those of us who are scientifically-challenged were not left behind. Some great surprises. I would like to have seen a little more chemistry between the hero and heroine, though I understand the obstacle of her memory loss. But I did enjoy the story.
Margaret Millmore has created a fast-moving thriller which kep me interested all the way through. I did spot the "baddie" half way through, but that in no way detracted from my enjoyment of the plot. The tension was there from the very first chapter and well maintained throughout.
I guessed who Michael was also, but the twists and turns to the finale were well worked and kept me reading.
An excellent first novel, I will read more of this author's work when it is published.
Yet another book that I found to have a lot of potential that wasn't executed well. The basic story is good but the writing seems a little immature. Conversations feel forced and the winking drove me nuts in the first 1/4 of the book. Overall, it was a good read but not a book I would revisit. So once again I "like" a book but I cannot "love" it due to the writing style.
A truly excellent book that is fast paced and interesting. I loved the writing style and it never failed to keep me trying to piece the story together.
The book started off in the style that I love, mysterious and intriguing from the first paragraph.
The mystery and intrigue make this a really good story. The characters were well developed but in a different light because there was nothing simple about the book and you have to eikeep up with the fast paced events to figure out who, is really who and what their part actually is.
A complicated set of events create an outstanding story that won't the answers easily.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Once I started it, I couldn't put it down- I finished it in a few hours! I really liked the way the author opened the book. Writing style is really good here. I can't agree with the few who comment on the grammatical and spelling errors... a few are there but not necessarily an "error", as it is put into context of conversation and outside thought within conversation... I understood it perfectly.
Very gripping, suspenseful story about a woman who is in an accident. She comes out of a coma about a month later and quite a bit of her memory of recent past (3-5 years) is gone and sketchy. No spoilers here so you must read- I thought I had it figured out right up until the end and was shocked. 4 stars because I would have loved just a couple more chapters to end this on a more calm tone. It seemed to leave quite a bit left for imagination. Nice if there is a 2nd book- which there definitely could be!
Very nice work to Ms. Millmore- I will look for other books written by you!
